New: bring your own template for document generation

One of the most common requests we hear from practices is some version of: "Your notes are great, but we have our own forms." Insurance templates, WorkSafe and TAC forms, GP referral letterheads, discharge summaries in a specific house style. Until now, a scribe could draft the note but you still had to copy it into your document by hand.

With bring-your-own-template document generation, you don't. Upload your PDF or Word template once, and Hanah fills it from the consult — in the right fields, in your voice — ready for you to review and sign off.

How it works

  • Bring your document. Upload an existing PDF or DOCX — your real form, not a re-creation of it.
  • Hanah fills it from the session. The same understanding of the consult that drafts your note populates the template's fields and free-text sections.
  • You review and finalise. Every output is a draft until a clinician signs off. Nothing is filed or sent automatically.

Why it matters

Formatting is invisible work. It doesn't improve care, but it eats time and it is exactly the kind of repetitive task that drains clinicians at the end of a day. Letting one consult produce every document it needs — plain note, PMS template, insurance form, your own letterhead — means the admin keeps up with you instead of piling up for later.

It also fits how we think about the product: the scribe shouldn't stop at the note. The same source should carry through to whatever the visit actually requires.

Available now

Bring-your-own-template generation is live for PDF and Word documents. If your practice has a form you'd like to bring across, you can upload it from your document settings — or book a demo and we'll walk you through it.
